What the extension does with data

• Price checks: When you click "Check this page's price," the extension reads the price displayed on your current page and fetches the same page once, without cookies, directly from your browser to the retailer. No third party (including us) is involved in that request.
• Price history: Prices of product pages you visit are saved in your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) so the extension can alert you to changes. This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the extension deletes it.
• Tracking-Signal Shield: Blocking and header rules run entirely inside Chrome via the declarativeNetRequest API. The extension does not observe, log, or transmit your browsing activity.

What we collect

Nothing. The extension has no analytics, no telemetry, no error reporting, no account system, and no remote servers.

What we share or sell

Nothing, with anyone, ever. There is nothing to share.

Permissions explained

• Access to all websites: needed because personalized pricing happens across the whole retail web — the extension must be able to read the price on whatever store you're shopping and fetch that page's anonymous copy.
• Storage: keeps your price history on your device.
• declarativeNetRequest: powers the tracker-blocking shield inside the browser.
• Offscreen: parses fetched pages on-device (a technical requirement of Chrome's extension architecture).

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the change will be visible in this document and in the extension's changelog before it takes effect. Any future feature that would involve data leaving your device will be opt-in, clearly labeled, and off by default.
